What inspired this change and what can we expect? Let’s learn more from LeAnn Romine, the owner:

Hello!  I’m excited to share a few changes that I’m in the process of making with my business.  It all started about two months ago.  I felt like I needed to make some changes in my business, but I was unsure as to what those changes would be. I came across the Business Boutique podcast and it really helped in the decision making process.

The first thing I’ve changed is my business name.  My new business name is Knitting Barn Boutique, formerly known as Country Gal Heart Gifts.

The second change is that I’m in the process of rebranding with the products that I offer.  I will be continuing with my best selling items, discontinuing other items, and adding new items as well. I’ll be adding some to my baby booties (baptism, rainbow baby, holiday, etc), adding newborn headbands, newborn hats, premie hats (possible booties as well), wrist warmers, boot cuffs, hair bows and possible a few more items.

I also want to give my online shops a new look, more of a boutique feel with selected items.  Although I’m extremely excited about these changes, I hope you’ll be patient with me as I’m still in the process of these changes.

Finally, I wanted to add what a blessing Cedar Rapids Marketplace has been.  I was able to ask questions during this process, and get helpful suggestions and encouragement during this time.  I hope when you find yourself in need of an item or gift that you’ll consider checking out Cedar Rapids Marketplace first, and support local!

Learn more about LeAnn:

With me I just really love to knit!  I started scrapbooking when our kids were little, and as they grew up I almost felt lost.  We have 3 daughters who are all adults now, and a son (we adopted when he was 3) who will be 18 in April.  As they grew up I also took up gardening, but I felt like God really brought the knitting into my life.  It’s been a huge blessing!  I was so focused on my kids when they were young that I wasn’t even sure what I enjoyed other than being a mom. My husband of almost 30 years has been my biggest fan/supporter.

Now I’m working on my business, and helping with my three grandchildren! In my spare time, when I’m not working you’ll find me spending time with family, scrapbooking and gardening!  Loving this season in life!
